Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 July 2026
Publisher / contact: baranowski · baranowskigrecjan@gmail.com · Poland

This Privacy Policy describes how fly pigeon, package name com.flypigeon.app, handles information. It is intended to provide transparency for the Solana Mobile dApp Store and applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR where applicable.

1. What the App does

fly pigeon transfers files directly between nearby devices, normally over a local network. It also requires Sign-In with Solana through the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter before the main interface is shown.

The App does not operate a Publisher-controlled account system, file-hosting service, advertising profile, or custody wallet. The current version does not upload transferred file contents to a Publisher-controlled server.

2. Information handled

Wallet sign-in information

At startup, the App asks a compatible Solana wallet to authorize a Sign-In with Solana request. The App receives the authorization result and public-key information needed to complete the sign-in gate. The current Android implementation uses this result in memory and does not persist it or send it to a Publisher server. The wallet and Android system may process additional information under their own policies.

Local network and device information

To discover and connect to nearby devices, the App may process local IP addresses, ports, network-interface information, device name, device type, device model, and connection status.

Files and file metadata

When you select or receive files, the App may process names, sizes, timestamps, MIME types, local locations, thumbnails, and file contents as needed to perform the transfer or save the file.

3. Purposes and sharing

Information is handled to provide the App, establish wallet sign-in, discover nearby devices, transfer files, save preferences, maintain security, and respond to support requests. The App shares information only as needed with the Solana wallet and Mobile Wallet Adapter, nearby devices selected by you, and Android services needed for permissions, storage, networking, and launching the wallet. The Publisher does not sell User Data.

4. Retention and deletion

Wallet sign-in results are currently held only in memory for the active session. Local settings, receive-history metadata, and received files remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App. Files sent to another device may remain on the recipient’s device.

There is no Publisher-controlled account to delete in the current version. To remove local App data, use Android Settings → Apps → fly pigeon → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the App. Revoke wallet authorization using the wallet’s connected-app controls. You may also contact baranowskigrecjan@gmail.com. Never send a seed phrase or private key.

5. Security and rights

Protect your device, approve only wallet requests you understand, use trusted networks, and maintain backups. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of personal data, object to certain processing, and request data portability. Contact baranowski at the email above.

6. Changes and contact

This Policy may be updated when the App, its data practices, or applicable law changes. Privacy questions and requests should be sent to baranowskigrecjan@gmail.com. Legal jurisdiction is Poland, subject to mandatory rights applicable to you.
